Indeed, at the heart of the success in reducing drug treatment center is a change in perceptions about not only the acceptability of using illicit substances, but also the need to take responsibility for ones actions. These changes take place at the individual, family, and community levels, and much of our prevention and intervention strategy therefore focuses on changing behaviors and norms.
