The mental condition commonly known as attention deficit disorder (ADD) is a condition that is psychosomatic and it is commonly thought to be a learning problem. This also includes disorders related to behavior, and it is usually considered a children’s problem. Most studies have found it to affect male children to a much higher degree than females. In fact, attention deficit disorder through studies would suggest starts in infants it can also have an affect on one’s adult years. When discovered later in life it is usually associated with behavior that is anti-social which incidentally enough seems to be absent in children suffering from the problem.

Common Symptoms

The common symptoms of attention deficit disorder in children include being inattentive and behaving impulsively. When the condition becomes hyperactive, there is difficulty in doing homework, or even conducting a conversation. Most research would indicate that those afflicted with ADD generally take risks and thus are more liable to get injured accidentally. Being inattentiveness is a known issue of attention deficit disorder can lead to committing careless mistakes and it also results in not being able to complete simple tasks.
